We thought we would cheer ourselves up by stopping over in New York for a few days. We arrived before check in but they let us get changed in the gym facilities and took our bags. Chris and I headed over to B&H to get Birthday presents for Xenia. It is the most amazing electrical goods store with over head tracks that the goods travel from the store room to the collection points on. It was incredibly busy but we got good deals on what we needed including a gadget that downloads photos from my camera to my ipad mini which is very useful as I was able to download my camera and enjoy my photos from Indiana. We headed to Lindy's for supper and then back to the hotel. We are already on American time, which is helpful for planning our days, just walking about this evening we were able to spot the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, such iconic landmarks.... I love New York!
