We left in a blizzard, it was a pretty scary drive, I was wondering if the flight would go ahead but they defrosted us once we were on the plane and covered us in green gel and we made it all the way to NYC for a couple of days to ourselves in the big apple which we love so much.

Forced Smiles all Round.....
We got up early to see Alexander off to his classes and say goodbye which was emotional then spent a little bit of time with Atticus, Kelly and Deatra until it was time for us to load up the car and leave. It is a very difficult thing to leave family abroad, now I know how my mother and father felt every time they left after a holiday with us in Germany or Gibraltar. However they always knew we would be back in England eventually which never seemed quite as bad. Indiana is a long way away, I am so grateful for modern technology which my parents didn't have in their day, and now I know where Alexander, Kelly and Atticus live, go to church, work, shop etc. so I can picture where they are talking about in conversations. Also I have met more of the Ogdens and have seen for myself how they love Alexander and have taken him in and he has a good support system there it helps me feel better about a son living so far away from us. He is going to make a great life for himself and his family. Thank you whoever invented Skype and Facetime!!!!!
