Spitalfields Market and Covent Garden

While the girls were away at EFY when we got home from France, I took the chance to go to London and meet Chris, Nathan and Teri for lunch. Alexander and Kelly also came up so we were six for lunch. I met Teri at Covent Garden where I picked up the things I forgot to go back for last time I was there. I hate not being able to browse when others are waiting outside for you! We watched a bit of street theatre. Then caught the tube to Liverpool Street Nathan works almost opposite so we met him there and had lunch nearby. Chris joined us and we had a lovely meal. Nathan went back to work and we took the short walk to Spitalfields Market which was wonderful, there are lovely shops and market stalls. Thursdays its more of an Antiques market but the rest of the week there is more variety. Saturdays it is closed as its custom is aimed at the business district which is also closed on the weekend. It was a short walk back to Liverpool Street station then back to Waterloo and home. I am looking forward to going back to London on my own for a leisurely browse.
