Captain Nemo

While in France we took a trip on the 'Captain Nemo' glass bottomed boat. We got there for the 10a.m. trip and sailed round to a bay and anchored, then everyone troops downstairs into the glass walled section and the crew cause a feeding frenzy with the fish. Obviously it would be more colourful in the Caribbean but it is still really interesting. The family look underwhelmed in the photos but they were tired. We had a little bit of English translation as the crew took a shine to Anastasia and let her steer the boat for a while. I won't be taking her or Xenia to Italy anytime soon!

Bonjour!!!

We have just returned from a wonderful, relaxing holiday in the South of France near St Raphael. No phone, no internet so Chris was able to relax. It was just swimming, sun-bathing and eating, bliss. We arrived at the villa quite late on Saturday evening, dropped off the bags and went in search of food. A great little place opposite the beach fed us just before they closed and so we went to bed with full tummies. It took me a few days to get a bit more aclimatised to the heat , we had air conditioning but still it took me 3 or 4 nights before I slept without thinking I was going to explode with heat in the night. During the day we lived in the pool, the youngsters made up games and competitions with all the inflatables available.
